The EIC Accelerator Program is recognized as one of the most competitive acceleration initiatives, supporting innovative projects and fostering growth of emerging companies. Beyond the substantial funding, the program provides potential access to future equity investment with EIC support.
The achievement strengthens KLISBio's commitment to advancing SILKBridge, a nerve guide for peripheral nerve repair, alongside its broader technology platform encompassing surgical solutions for rotator cuff repair, bone grafting, and vascular applications.
CEO Gabriele Grecchi expressed enthusiasm about the selection, noting the €2.5 million grant and potential European Fund participation would play a fundamental role in advancing the mission in peripheral nerve repair surgery.
